Minister for Communities and Kthim Nenad Rassic accused the Serbian List and its figures who once led northern municipalities for abuse and money laundering.
He said the prosecution has not announced on each case, but the evidence is public and that they are ready for co-operation.
Rassic singled out a case in which, according to him, Zvecan, one of the smallest municipalities at the country level, had a 150m-euro investment budget on paper.
“> in the Zvecan municipality, which I didn't know either, the budget has been 20 billion dinars, which is roughly 150m euros, you know that the Zvecan municipality is small, but all this money isn't used for citizens, is used only on paper for money laundering”, Nenad Rassic said for A2. CNN.
Rassic says such abuses have occurred since Vucic's SNS came to power in Serbia, and with the Serbian List in Kosovo they have used the north for money laundering.
He says documents they received from northern municipalities talk about projects for which money was spent but have never been realised.
I wasn't wrong if I told you that perhaps hundreds of millions are there, again if you go north, again look at Zubin Potok, Zvecanin, how many people are in a bad position, in a miserable social position and on the other hand we have a paradox when the same is using millions of investments, all of this is a fraud, it's manipulation with citizens where the Belgrade regime uses it as a property to launder the money<1>, Rassic said.
Rassic considers that only through integration and investment will Serbs turn their backs on the Serbian List and no longer be afraid of them.
“If we multiply efforts in terms of integration and commitment to a more sustainable development, I guarantee you that however much more we invest will have the impact of either the Serbian List or other people in Belgrade”, the minister for Communists and Kthim said.
The only Serbian minister in the Government of Kosovo said that through them they have managed to employ 250 people from the Serb community, while they are constantly having programmes in support of them.
