Ranovici still at large, Hill: I hope the case goes to court and has some responsibility

In an interview given for “NIN”, the US ambassador hopes the armed conflict between the Serbian paramilitary group and the Kosovo police, in the village of Banjska in September 2023, “will go to court” and that “will have some responsibility for what happened”, the online newspaper Reporter.net sends.

The “has certainly not been a day that has helped Serbian interests and certainly has not helped even American-Serbian relations”, Hill added.

He also said that the US are the very disappointed “since Serbia's government are again two people who are under US sanctions -- Deputy Prime Minister Aleksandar Vulin and Nenad Popovic.

Regarding the hostility, distrust and grief that exist against the US over NATO bombings in 1999, Hill said that “everything can change”, but that “weight requires more time”
