The CDU and CSU are on track to get as much as 30% of the vote, and the far-right AfD is expected to get 16-16.5%, with the SPD well behind 14%.
Scholz's Green Coalition allies will come to fourth place with about 12%, while the liberal FDP has dropped by 5%, says extpol.
In 2019, The AfD received 11% of the vote and SPD 15.8%. The Greens had received 20.5%.
