Today around 08:20 hours, on the “Gassper Karaqi” street in Gjakova, patrol units within the Gjakova Police Station have stopped a local license Skoda vehicle, which is headed by suspect F. L., male adult.
A pack of cigarettes has been found to be loaded with three thousand two hundred and fifty (3250). From the package, 1500 were of the Marlboro kind, and the rest of the Winston kind.
Since the suspect did not possess relevant documents for the cigarettes he carried, in consultation with the state prosecutor, they have been seized, on suspicion that the same were smuggled.
The content and seized property has been handed over to the Kosovo Customs Authority for further procedure.
