First phase of spatial demarcation begins this week in Pristina municipality

Sadiku has said this process is necessary for the capital and that preparations for the first phase are under way, while adding that citizens will be announced in advance.

“Space Design is the process that occurs every year in Pristina. It's from the municipalities that did the disinstallation. This year we are making preparations early this week, we are making preparations. Of course we've had some issues that we have companies to start the process because it's over with them, but we've got another company. There has to be a plan because in this process citizens should be notified earlier, especially beekeepers to be careful and not to do bee damage”, Sadiku said.

In the process of spatial demarcation, Sadiku has said it includes about 6 thousand and 800 hectares, including the city and villages, which last about a week.

The deposit process is the process that lasts six days, some 6 thousand and 800 hectares are included in the Pristina municipality, not only the capital but also several surrounding villages. It lasts in six stages on each road, and then after the first phase about 10 days it is paused and then started with the second phase. The process lasts for eight days, some of the first days are discarded, in order to drown insect larvae. On the second day, there is a dezination process, which lasts during the day, and after the process is carried out”, Sadiku said.

According to him, the purpose of this process is to reduce insects to reduce epidemic diseases.

The purpose of this is to reduce insects to epipedemilogic levels so that many infectious diseases that the carriers are installed. We will usually make the announcement at eight or nine o'clock. On the basis of information and requests from the policemen, we've seen no complaints. Unlike past years this year, cleanliness and hygiene are better, and it is affecting fewer insects. This year's park maintenance is much better. Grass and humidity is a factor in the growth of the large number of insects”, he added.

In the end, he asks the citizens that for all those who have any concerns who have not entered their neighborhood to announce.

Space demarcation takes place during the evening around 8:00-2100, contracted companies for dezination are distributed in every neighbourhood in Pristina and the villages of this municipality.
