Osmani: I spent some of my childhood in Drenas, it's a symbol of heroism.

Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani has said that Drenas is a symbol of resistance and heroism, following his meeting with the mayor of this municipality, Ramiz Lrudevici, on a visit he has made Friday, reports Online Economy.

She said it was a constant inspiration to go to this municipality, since part of her childhood was spent in Drenas, since she's the niece of this municipality.

“renas is a symbol of resistance and heroism. I spent part of my childhood in Drenas' niece. The bravery of KLA heroes and those who pay the price for freedom will never be forgotten. It is our constant inspiration to a better future today to remember by honoring not only their homes but the honor of our entire nation. The families of these heroes among us want to express our gratitude once more. Drenas is not known only for Kosovo's contribution today, Drenas is one of the most exemplary municipalities at the level of our Republic. Drenas is growing with the dedication of citizens and working citizens. Over 50 percent of the executives are women, this testifies to women's extraordinary work, is an example to follow when women are given the opportunity to develop all of Kosovo”, Osmani said.

The president said this is due to the team where women are a significant role for as many women as possible in decision making.

“We continue to face challenges still we have without economic equality in education are issues that need to be paid attention as the presidency continues to support them. We should also continue to create new opportunities for the private sector to enable young people to testify to their potential. Developed municipalities strengthen our country, all municipalities should be seen as continuous efforts. As president I continue to be an ally of municipalities.
