The nearby people of those arrested for spying are in the cabinets of various ministers”

The former commander of the Kosovo Security Force (FSK), Kadri Kastrati, has raised concerns about the risk of spying within Kosovo state structures.

This is related to the arrest of two spying indictees. According to Kastrati, they have close people in ministers' cabinets.

“and Yugoslavia or Serbia, from World War II, has created a system, a row and recruited into generations and I say the right they are everywhere present in Kosovo. I've said the few days since they've been arrested and yet I'm saying it, I strongly recommend Government to begin, reversion of all people who are of special weight to the state, whether that's police, the military, intelligence, parliamentary ministers, people working in cabinets because I've heard that there are very close people of these (in custody) spies who are in the cabinets of various ministers.. There's an KSF- and this poses a potential risk that these people, not only their families, but these people have a network of friends, network of collaborators working in state institutions, and on a daily basis report to their command line and transmit them to Serbia”, Kastrati said.

He has stressed the need for reversion of all persons with important positions in the state to ensure the integrity and security of Kosovo institutions.
