Mustafa: We knew NATO bombings would chapter Serbia

On the 25th anniversary of the signing of the Kumanovo Agreement, which ended the Kosovo war, the former KLA commander for the Lapi Zone, Rrustem Mustafa- Remi invited to “Info Plus” of RTK said that after the start of the NATO bombing, the end of this war was seen. Although, he said when [...]
Although he said that when the war began, they were prepared to last much longer.
We who were wearing KLA uniforms planned for the war to last much longer. But as NATO's bombing began, there was a light in the end of the tunnel, and that light was very clear and it was well known that the country would be delivered very quickly. During all this time we have been in other forms about Albanian diplomacy and internationals, and this has not caught us without preparing”, Mustafa said in RTK.
Whatever the case, he said the outcome of the Kosovo war so quickly was very important news for all those who were dressed under the KLA's emblem, but also for people who were numerous in Kosovo and for the whole nation in general.
Although three days before June 10th 1999 failed an agreement in Kumanovo on the outcome of the war, Mustafa said they were not disappointed with the fact that they had precise information that this day or that day Serbia would surrender.
“So we were sure that this job would be done but it was just a matter of when Serbia” would be handed over, Mustafa said.
Otherwise the signing of the Kumanovo Agreement ended the Kosovo war. Just now 25 years ago, June 10th 1999, NATO bombings ceased, after that day the KLA and NATO soldiers entered Pristina. This agreement was reached after 78 days of NATO bombings on Serbian targets.
