Muharrem: EU subsidies Government is trying to present its success

Analyst Shenoll Muharremi has reacted to the post of Finance Minister Iron Murati, who has written today on subsidising 61 thousand families for energy.

He has suggested that this subsidy was the European Union, not the Government.

In his account in “Facebook”, Muharrem wrote that the Government is attempting to provide EU subsidies as a government success.

Some government “even at nearly 40 degrees temperatures are not stopping without using the case to make propaganda that eventually benefited any vote during elections from the most marginalised layers. 75 million European Union aid, energy support, is intended to present themselves as government success. I bought a sack of ice, local production, to cool off with a little glass of water and lemon, but when I opened the internet, I read in a local media about how “the government helped 61,000 famljes for six months by subsidizing your energy fee”. We supported 61 families today. That is not entirely true. The government or the Energy Ministry (economics) has channelled and managed only these funds. The hand in the heart, management has been highly efficient and professional on their part. But the truth is that the European Union, European taxpayers, have financed and paid these subventions”, he wrote.

According to him, the government should focus on other things.

“Hic less than 75m euros have been provided by the EU for support of needy citizens in Kosovo by Pako Energy Support. Otherwise, the government should focus on increasing businesses and the private sector, which strengthen the economy and do not need to give charity and subsidies, which, in such cases, have multi-compliance effects on the economy”, it has written.
