At the Foundation Court in Ferizaj has continued the retrial hearing against Dardan Krivasa and Arber Sejdiu, suspected of violating and killing Marigona Osmani.

At the last hearing of the trial, the court has ruled to be heard by forensic expert Naim Haliti, who has participated in rooting out autopsy against the late Marigona Osmani.

In the courtroom, forensics Haliti said he stands behind the autopsy report he compiled after examining Marigona Osmani's death.

We carried out the late's “Autopsia by the date of 22.8.2021 at the Pristina Legal Medicine, with orders from prosecutor Valdet Avdiu. With that date, we also conducted the external and internal examination of the corpse as well as biological evidence. Examination has been carried out to confirm European standards, with conditions owned by IML in Pristina”, Haliti said.

He also talked about how it came to the death of the late Osman, writes RTKlive.

“We have described the death of the deceased as a consequence of multiple injuries called the trauma pole that has resulted from the damage to vital organs that have been caused by cannons”, he said.

The judge asked him about the details Halit had on the autopsy, including multiple injuries, broken ribs, etc.

After examining the corpse, we have written down all injuries, politics must specify any particular injury, death mechanism may be different, from asphyxia, impacting. These injuries were for the living”, Haliti said.

We remember that on August 4, 2023, the Ferizaj Foundation Court sentenced Dardan Krivaqan to life in prison for the murder of Marigona Osmani.

While Arber Sejdiu had been sentenced to 15 years in prison for help in the serious murder in co-ordination. Sejdiu's Krivaqa, meanwhile, had been acquitted of criminal offence.

But, the Court of Appeals with approval of the Constitutional Prosecutor's complaint in Ferizaj and the protection of the two indictees has turned the case into retrial.

Marigona Osmani, 18, was killed on August 22, 2021, at the residence of the chief accused, Dardan Krivaqa, in the town of Ferizaj.
