The Democratic League of Kosovo has welcomed the Constitutional Court's decision on the Law for the Independent Council of Overseers for the Kosovo Civil Service.
On 20 October, 2023 LDK deputies filed the case at the Constitutional Court “, arguing and allegedly all constitutional violations of this Law”.
Today's “Decision except that the confirmation of serious violations in a vital law on the independence of state administration and civil servants is confirmed by a practice already phenomenon of constitutional violations by the Government of Kosovo. The LDK provides the country's citizens with the assurance that as founder and host of the Republic, it will continue to be Guardian of the Constitution of the Republic”.

Our state democracy cannot be threatened by any government, much less by a populist and autocratic government like this one, which for three years has already made a total of 10 constitutional violations”.
Following the complaint by LDK and PDK deputies at the Constitutional Court for the amendments that Kurti has made to the Law for Independent Council for the Kosovo Civil Service, the Court has found that articles 2.7 and 8 of this law are contrary to the Constitution of the Republic of Kosovo.
