He has written that he was in Florence for the seminar for young diplomats from the Western Balkans and for reporting to the Council of Europe, where he briefed members of this organisation for the current <x0-dynamic dialogue” between Kosovo and Serbia.
A event I am always looking forward to is the regular seminar for young diplomats from the Western Balkans, organised by the European University Institute in Florence. It was inspiring to be involved in a lively discussion about EU policymaking, the developing policy of enlargement and the challenges facing the region today”, Lajcak wrote.
“From Florence, I traveled to Strasbourg at the invitation of members of the Council of Europe. In this beautiful town on the Franco-German border, I had the privilege of informing members of the Council of Europe and EU member states of the current situation and dynamic dialogue for normalising relations between Kosovo and Serbia”, he added.
In Strasbourg, Lajcak said he also used the option of “to interact with a number of Council of Europe officials for our respective files”.
