“Praising the approval of the UN resolution on July 11th as the International Day of Memorial of the Srebrenica genocide, the prime minister recalled that the Parliament of the Republic of Kosovo approved in July 2021 a special resolution condemning the Serbian genocide in Srebrenica.
Co-operation between the Institute for Research and Documentation of crimes committed during the war in Kosovo and the Srebrenica Memorial Centre was praised and the memorandum of co-operation expected to be signed”, reportedly in the announcement made by the prime minister's office.
In addition, the communiqué reportedly stressed the government's commitment to comprehensive transitional justice processes, as well as the finalisation of the Republic of Kosovo's First Transitional Justice Strategy.
