“Turkey was one of the first countries to recognise Kosovo's independence in 2008, showing special relations between the two countries. This is a testament to Turkey's” engagement, Kurti said.
Kurti in his speech said there are two areas where Kosovo wants to strengthen reports between the two states that were considered excellent at the start of this event.
According to him, those areas are security and protection, as well as economic development. Kurt even said that he was written two times “in the speech, I invite the new invertors”, but he made that call three times.
He has cited double growth of economic investments, the fact that Kosovo has lower public debt and has named the country positioned at the Balkan <x0nd Heartline as the crossroads between Europe, the Middle East and North Africa”.
There are dozens of companies in Turkey that are from Kosovo. Being part of the various associations and co-operation Kosovo also offers to Turkish investors”, he has declared.
In his speech Kurti has mentioned Sami Frasherin, the renowned Albanian writer who held his activity in Turkey, taking it as reference to the formation of a football club.
Turkey's Trade Minister, Omer Bulat, has stressed that co-operation with Kosovo will last long. Bolat has said trade reports between the two countries will increase, and hopes it will reach the value of 1 billion euros.
“Trade progress between Kosovo and Turkey has continued to contribute to the two countries. Therefore Turkey recognises Kosovo's sovereignty and integrity. Kosovo's stability means stability of the Western Balkans”, he has said.
