Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti has met with Albanian businessmen and Albanian descent last night during his stay in Istanbul, Turkey, who has invited them to invest in Kosovo, citing, among other things, “the free price of electricity”, his office announced.
At a dinner with them, the Prime Minister's Office says Kurti “announced with the progress that Kosovo has scored on the economic level in the past three years, stressing growth for double foreign investment and exports, but also increased tax revenues for 2/3, without changing fiscal policy, but as a result of increasing confidence in institutions”.
The prime minister also singled out the favourable investment environment in Kosovo, including the free price of electricity, professional workforce, fiscal policies and the fact that Kosovo has recently received its first sovereign credit rating from Fitch Rating”, the announcement said.
Kurt has invited Albanian businessmen and Albanian descent there to consider the possibility of investing in Kosovo.
“Texa expressed gratitude and gratitude for the continued and important contribution of our military in Turkey, he called on business representatives and owners to come to Kosovo, investigate the opportunities our country offers and invest. He made that call by offering the government's support together with the legal infrastructure and state mechanisms so that investment is secure and profitable”, the report said.
ZKM says the prime minister thanked all those present for their warm hospitality and for their important role in creating bridges of co-operation between Kosovo and Turkey, in addition to the continued contribution to their homeland as Mr.”.
At this dinner, alongside Kurti were Deputy Prime Minister Emilia Rexhepi, Kosovo's ambassador to Turkey, Agon Vrenez, prime minister's chief of staff, Luan Dalipi, and Kosovo Assembly deputy Enis Kervan.
