Krasniqi: Ibrahim Rugova was not a prophet, and much less a traitor, was an intellectual politician

The Kosovo Democratic League conference (LDK) called “West and Rugova” has been the topic of discussion in Kosovo.

This topic is being discussed on Tuesday at “Pressing” of T7.

Professor Milazim Krasniqi, who has been an associate of the late President Ibrahim Rugova, has said the book on Rugova's figure was written at the time when there was a big confrontation for his figure.

He has said that the LDK named Rugova as “Master”, meanwhile, the other arm “Trader”. Neither according to Krasniqi stands.

In the period when I decided to write this book, it was a huge confrontation for Rugova's figure. The LDK's men almost made him a prophet, and this other arm almost declared him a traitor”.

He was not a prophet, nor was he at all a traitor. He was an intellectual introduced into politics”, Krasniqi said.
