Kosovo police train official dog operators for search for weapons, drugs and banknotes

Today's certificate included two official operators with explosives and weapons research, as well as three official operators for drug research, bank notes, weapons, ammunition and Polimer (DKAMP), police report.
This training started at 12,02,2024 and ended at 11,06,2024 (A total of 4 months), implemented by local K9 Unit instructors, Vrella Camp, Slatine and the state institutions of RKS.
Training has been accomplished by adapting to the needs of fighting Small Arms and Lechta (SALË), taking as model allied European states such as England and France”, police report.
The unit with the official K9 dog for the first time has managed to train and certified three official dogs according to the new DKAMP programme, which means a dog can do the search for drugs, cartels, weapons, ammunition and Polimer.
The graduation and Certificate ceremony presented leaders from the Special Units Department, the Training Division as supervisory authority, as well as senior officials from O. The SEU, which has helped implement this programme of particular importance”, concludes the announcement.
