Tefik Mustafa has been arrested in Serbia by Serbian authorities on charges of committing alleged war crimes against the non-Albanian population during the 1999 war in Kosovo.
Regarding the charges Serbia is rationalising his arrest, according to Qamil Musfata, they are not real. He says his father 1997 to 2004 has not lived in Kosovo.

On the other hand, Mustafa has indicated that his recent contact with his father had the moment he was arrested.
“The last time we contacted him is the day they arrested him. They told him to call my family and speak to me in Serbian. He was arrested while traveling by bus.”, he declared.
65-year-old Tefiq Mustafa has travelled through Serbia several times and never had any problems, his son says.
“There are several paths for Serbia, never after teleas. There are roads over 10 times”, Mustafa said.
