Kosovo Institute for Justice (IKD) within the “Jurydical Assistance Week Falas”, organised a discussion table today with the “theme (Don't) implement the rights of pensioners in practice and upload the judiciary by”.
As he makes known The IKD in the media communiqué, at this table, was missing from the Ministry of Labour and Transferences that did not respond positively to the invitation for participation, Klankosova broadcasts. tv
IKD Executive Director Ehat Miftaraj informed that the IKD's Centre for Free Juridical Assistance has deposited over 600 indictments for failing to implement double retirement.
He stressed that many delayed citizens face this problem, seeking help in IKD offices and pension departments.
“at the offices of the IKD's Free Juridical Assistance Centre come citizens who are of extended ages, there are 80-90-year-olds who unfortunately roam not only IKD offices but also offices at pension departments, in municipalities where they are”, Miftaraj said.
He added that IKD has analysed the denial of double pensions for specific categories, focusing on the laws on the status and rights of martyrs, disabled, UCK veterans, civilian victims and their family.
Until, the chairman of the Kosovo Judiciary Council (KGJK), Albert Zogaj, voiced his concern about triple the matter in the judicial system due to the failure to implement laws fairly.
The double pension situation or two pension schemes is only getting dimension in judicial procedures, and I believe it should reflect on voluntary fulfillment. We're also specifically saying that all categories deserve respect, but we don't have to forget either one that the legal rate actually has the social and human dimension within itself and in this case all social schemes are built on this concept. Therefore, this dimension should also be extended to the implementation of the rate, rather than to this situation when people are in a dilemma and in difficulty to implement justice”, Zogaj said.
On the other hand, Bajram Cerkini from the Missing Persons Source Centre shared the challenges facing choosing pensions for missing persons.
When I was told the previous day that you were not right Bajram Cerkini, 38 years I worked in Trepce, do you want the contributing pension or compensation of the boy you were, that situation has taken a very heavy dock today?
The table finished its work, with the conclusions that the Government of Kosovo, the Ministry of Finance, Labour and Transfers, respectively, make fair implementation of the law in relation to Kosovo pensioners, who are also beneficiaries of pensions under other particular laws.
