The Minor who lost his life has been identified as Zini Murati, 60 years old. He was at work in one of the mines with administrator Arben Cupi, who is also chairman of the Municipal Council in Bulqiza from the ranks of the Socialist Party.
Police reported that at 11:30, the miner was taken to the hospital without signs of life.
In the statement by the Debar Police Local Directorate, it is said that the accident occurred at work in the Bulqiza mine and that the investigative group is working to clarify the circumstances of the event.
Miner Zini Murati's death marks the second fatal accident within a short period in this sector. A few days ago, a 40-year-old lost his life in a chromium gallery in Marthas.
