Former head of Court of Appeals: Government with Law for Bureau attempted capture of justice system

Under the Law for the Bureau for Verification and Confiscating of Unwarmable Riches, which the Constitution has deemed unconstitutional, former head of the Appeals Court Hasan Shala, has stressed that Kurti Government has not thought of reform, but the goal has been to capture the justice system. Shala has said there can be no laws [...]
Shala has said there cannot be good laws and reforms without co-operation between position and opposition.
And it's very rare that the line through the bank is created. Even close family members are in control of this Bureau... When co-operating with the opposition also comes to co-ordinating the opposition position, bringing such a law then we have success, then we have reform. There's no talking about reform here. Here the reform spoke only of populism, because it was not the goal of reform. The goal has been to capture the justice system”, Shala has declared RTV Dukagini.
Because there are not 20 years ago fears, today they thought they were 5 to 4, but I can say you've clearly appointed two or three judges, that's your vote. This is what, when you don't trust the institution, you're prime minister and you don't trust the judicial system is too much damage to the judiciary, but also to the state”, Shala has said further.
Kosovo's Constitutional Court has declared the Law for the State Bureau for Verification and Confiscating Unjustified Riches invalid.
In the decision, the Constitution has assessed them contrary to the four article constitution of this law, but said that given the importance of these provisions and without the change and completion of them from the Kosovo Assembly, the Law for the State Bureau “has been declared invalid in its entire body”.
