US Ambassador Jeffrey Havenier has been present today at the 25th anniversary of NATO forces' entry into Kosovo.
The American Embassy in Pristina, until it has published a photograph where the participants were also Hovenier, quoted Hovernier's statements, who said NATO halted the brutal campaign of ethnic cleansing conducted by the Milosevic regime.
“Today I joined Kosovo officials and honoured guests to mark the 25th anniversary of NATO forces' entry into Kosovo, ending the brutal campaign of ethnic cleansing conducted by the Milosevic regime”, the embassy writes, citing Hownier.
“The United States is proud of the important role it played, along with allies, to stop these horrors and to support all of Kosovo's people to realise their future as a sovereign, independent, multiethnic and democratic state”, concludes the Hovenier quote from the American Embassy in Pristina.
