Bedri Bytyci, former president of the Vetevendosje Movement for the Municipal Assembly in Malisevo, has raised a wave of criticism of Prime Minister Albin Kurti and his government for their participation in the LGBTQ+ community parade.
In a post on social networks, the former candidate, who currently serves as an imam in a Malisheva village, has expressed his indignation and disappointment over the move, considering it unacceptable to the Muslim majority of the country.
He also promises political revenge against Albin Kurti in the upcoming elections, Paparac reports.
And we've lost our votes. How do you feel when you go back to your families when they ask you: Where were they? Who are they? Hmmm they're... What an answer you have! Election Day is coming soon! But 95% Muslim, led by a man to promote what not only Islam as religion but all heavenly religions reject without hesitation. Valahi, Bilahi, Tlahi we are people to study! The bigger one takes two days! Forget it! May shame cover you as he covered you up before you who promoted such degradation. ”, writes Bytyci.
