UN Assistant Secretary General for Europe, Central Asia and America at the Department for Political Affairs and Peace Construction Miroslav Janca has visited Belgrade today what he has met with Serbian Foreign Minister Marko Djuric, who has used the opportunity to ask for his help to influence Kosovo's restrictive measures not to be lifted.
“positively praising co-operation with the UN team in Serbia”, Djuric has claimed that the role of the United Nations in maintaining Serbia's territorial integrity and sovereignty is of vital importance”, claimed in the Serbian Foreign Ministry's statement.
In that sense, he has expressed concern over the showing of trends for removing restrictive measures imposed on Kosovo.
The possible “gaping measures already limited “and insufficient “” to Albin Kurti's regime would imply a implicit reconciliation with the consequences of its ethno-nationalist agenda, which for nearly three years has been fatal to the life and survival of the “Serb people” in Kosovo”, Djuric claimed.
He has added that the regime of Albin Kurti “should be sanctioned, not rewarded and tolerated for its irresponsible behavior”.
This, Djurovic has claimed in his propaganda, “would send a very bad signal to the region that the unilateral, provocative and harmful acts of Kosovo including the most serious violation of basic human rights, pressures, abuses, brutal physical and institutional violence against Serbs, and the systematic persecution of the Serbian people” enjoys the support of the international community.
