Therefore, dear activists and friends of Movement, in 2025 we will have the next local elections except to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Movement V. But surely we will have parliamentary ones as the opposition cannot postpone them indefinitely”.
This statement by Prime Minister Kurti sparked opposition parties' response.
PDK Secretary General Vlora Citaku said it is only a phrase by Prime Minister Kurti to cover up the failures in his rule.
According to her, The PDK is ready for parliamentary elections whenever Kurti is ready.
Regular elections are held at 2025. The PDK has been consistent over this issue since last year is whether Prime Minister Kurti wants elections and whether the VV chairman is ready for elections the options are open on the table through resignation, through no-confidence motion and through the distribution of the Parliament. The PDK is ready for all options we are consistent and there is no question. The prime minister is doing what he knows best to create in fact the only thing he can do is create phrases, try to cover the internal failures of government with the saltless batta. The prime minister has recently failed in domestic governance, citizens deserve better... a government in their service, not a crisis government”, Citaku told Rtv21.
Even in the LDK, Prime Minister Kurti's statement makes it meaningless that the opposition is postponing parliamentary elections. LDK member Shqipe Pantina says the party is more than ready for elections.
It is pointless that the opposition is postponing the only elections that could cause early elections is self-determination or dares if they withdraw from the government or the prime minister resigns otherwise if there were numbers, the government itself would. The LDK is ready for elections the governing programme has been approved by LDK structures offering solutions to the problems that have been collected and that this government has not been taken at all. They know in the next election they won't get the same votes, but on the other hand, Kurt is trying to get away from those responsible.
Early parliamentary elections in the country for months were a topic of discussion in the country, but the issue went quietly following opposition parties' failure to disseminate the Assembly, which was also supported by power.
