In general, regarding the use of cameras in locations during future election processes, the CEC explains citizens of the Republic of Kosovo:
• Seting surveillance cameras into polling spaces is done in order to ensure the safety of electoral materials and preserve the integrity of the voting process and counting the vote;
• Putting cameras in the polls will take place by fully securing the secret of the vote, as they will be placed at the other end of the place where the voting booth will be and in no circumstances can register the sign of voter preference;
• Preservation of camera records will be temporary until the election material is destroyed, except for those from polling countries where irresistence is identified in order to be offered to law enforcement institutions;
•On election day, the CEC will not monitor these cameras, so their census will be done passively, and that access to videotapes can only be provided by decision or request of the legislation institutions.
