EU High Representative Josep Borrell is honoured today by Austria's Foreign Ministry at the European Prize “Dr. Alois Mock” It was Alexander Schallenberg who delivered the prize at a ceremony attended by ministers from the region.
In his speech, the European top diplomat has spoken of the challenges Europe is facing. He has said it was once trade that has brought the countries together in the EU, so that now the focus is on the security aspect due to numerous challenges.
Borell has also talked about the identity of Europe, saying European identity will not be complete until all Balkan countries join the European family.
