This statement, Bislimi made in expectation of being organised by the British Embassy in Kosovo, on the occasion of his royal birthday, King Charles III.
In his speech, he expressed that the United Kingdom holds a special place in our hearts and minds for continued support of Kosovo.
“On our quest for freedom, the United Kingdom has always been a staunch ally a nation supporting freedom and democratic values, which stood by us during the war and our efforts at liberation, and the subsequent years of our country's reconstruction. Last week, we waited for former Prime Minister Tony Blair to jointly mark 25 years of Kosovo's liberation. We highly appreciate it and will never forget its steadfast support during the” war, the deputy prime minister said.
“In the aspirations and roads ahead, we are confident that with the support of the United Kingdom and our Western allies, we will achieve our goals, as our diplomatic relations, bilateral visits, co-operation and interhuman ties are strengthening day-day. A deeper link in politics, culture, economy, security and many other areas” was completed by the deputy prime minister.
