Austrian Eurodeput, Lucas Mandl, has been declared about Josep Borrell's departure from the position of High Representative for Foreign Policy and Security. According to Austrian, Borrell's departure will be in Kosovo's favour.
Kosovo is also a champion of democratic values that it has shown in comparison to other countries in the Western Balkans, Kosovo is clearly the first and this has been underestimated in Borrell's report, with a direct approach I'm saying that I hope we won't need to discuss Borrell's policies further against the Western Balkan countries, because its mandate will be over, because from now on, Kaya Kallas will carry it, because it is a very promising personality when it comes to ties with the Western Balkans, due to its European values<1x>
He declared that EU measures were unfair from the start and for him it was shocking that they were considered.
“These measures have been wrong since the beginning, I have said this from the very beginning, and I have been shocked that Brussels has only considered to impose measures against Kosovo, and must leave as soon as possible due to a rational and fact-based analysis”, added the eurodeputt, which won a mandate.
Mandl said it must be analysed of the damage these measures have done to Kosovo, so that this serves as a lesson for future investments. /T7
