They appeared as doctors in Pristina offering services to citizens and received payment from Serbia ʹ an indictment against the two suspects

The Constitutional Prosecutor in Pristina reports the public opinion that the State Prosecutor, after the development of the investigation, has filed an indictment against the N.P. and E.I., due to criminal acts the illegal fraud of medical or pharmaceutical activity” and “Protion and distribution of harmful medical products”, according to KPRK.

According to the indictment, defendants from the indefinite date, in continuation of until January 31st, 2024, on the “road. Luan Haradinaj” in Pristina, more precisely in the target (anxins) attached to the Pristina Police Station, with the aim of illegal profitability of wealth, presenting itself as a member of an NGO and as a doctor, have provided services and medical treatment for Kosovo citizens, without being licensed and authorised by the respective institutions of the Republic of Kosovo, and for which services have accepted regular monthly payments from the authorities in Serbia, at the amount of 1,700 euros.

Also, with the same date, time and place, following the implementation of the Kosovo Police command, top defendants, who were found in the possession of drugs and medical products without banners of the Republic of Kosovo, and without origin, serving Kosovo citizens, without being made necessary checks by the person or authorized institution, what has at this jeopardised the lives and health of citizens of the Republic of Kosovo<1>, the prosecution's announcement reported.

The State Prosecutor has proposed to the court that the defendants be found guilty and convicted under the law of criminal acts being charged, as well as proposed that drugs and medical products be confiscated and that the same be eliminated under the previous legal procedure.
