American Professor: Prime Minister Kurti Sʹka has done much for Kosovo's development

Alon Ben-Meir, prominent American professor, considered that the governments in Kosovo -- including the current executive of Vetevendosje Movement leader (LVV), Albin Kurti -- have not made sufficient progress in Kosovo's development, while tens of thousands of citizens, mainly unemployed and desperate professionals -- are abandoning their homeland. “Unfortunately, governments [...]
“Unfortunately, successive governments in Kosovo, including the current run by Kurti, have made limited progress in the nation's development. Instead of promoting growth, for the past 25 years, politicians from all walks of politics in Kosovo have amassed wealth, leaving most of the population without hope, which leads to a brain drain”.
Kosovo's “Albanians are the most pro-Americans. They now have a historic opportunity to focus on developing, to eliminate corruption and to work closely with Western allies that offer a path to prosperity, growth and a promising future, especially for young people”, the American professor added to the 25th anniversary of liberation.
Ben-Meir also commented on the possibility of restoring the old idea of exchange of territories between Kosovo and Serbia. He stressed that the United States of America (SHBA) is unable to unilaterally force Kosovo and Serbia to exchange territories, especially because this issue does not pose a threat to American security.
The European Union (BE), the American professor added, is also flatly against any kind of redefining of borders along ethnic lines in any of the states seeking to join the EU.
