More than 169 Kosovo property outside the territory, “Trepca” requires the return of only those within Kosovo

The management of the company “This announcement includes only properties within Kosovo territory, but not even outside it. In property outside Kosovo, an initiative from the Ministry of Justice is needed. After the breakup of the former Yugoslav system, too many properties were not [...]
However, today, after 16 years when Kosovo celebrates its independence, the public company “Shrepca” has given the ultimatum that within 30 days anyone who owns its properties to return.
But restitution of these properties seems not easy.
Its assets have been scattered in Yugoslavia's time and have been scattered mainly in Montenegro and Serbia. They're legal problems and they're other problems that we don't have principledly and economically. There are dozens of such ones, but each of them, has special legal history after Yugoslavia has passed on several stages and are legal problems, ” Ferat Shala-ish-director of the company “Trepca” has said.
But there are a total of 169 properties that Kosovo has left out of its territory.
Of them, 104 are only within Serbia's territory.
From the Kosovo Privatisation Agency, they have told Dukagjin that with some of the states together with the Government of Kosovo, discussions have begun, but not with Serbia.
Kosovo's “Republic with most of the neighbouring countries emerging from the former Yugoslavia has established diplomatic relations and opportunities have been created to solve problems on diplomatic roads with Kosovo's assets located on the territory of these states, except with Serbia and with Bosnia and Herzegovina,” is said by the Kosovar Privatisation Agency.
With one state, the Ministry of Justice as representatives from Kosovo had begun legal procedures, but still nothing concrete.
As for your questions, we inform you that the State Lawyer is representing the Republic of Kosovo on the issue where the citizen of Montenegro has indicted the Republic of Kosovo for resolving the contract with which Kosovo had purchased a property of about 300m2. The case is under court scrutiny in Kotor. In the other issue, the Republic of Kosovo has indicted Montenegro for compensation of property other than property, which the former resort “Ganimes of Trbeshi” had in permanent use. The substance has been recorded in court, but no session has yet been scheduled,” say by the Ministry of Justice.
And the Ministry of Justice seems to be the only institution that has intensive jobs to return state property.
“Trepca is managed by the Government of Kosovo and public enterprises that have been operating in the former Yugoslavia and post-Yugoslavia period, which have remained in other states, then in this case is the Ministry of Justice, which has to start steps to return state property. We have followed such initiative by the Ministry of Montenegro itself, but not with Serbia,” has said Anton Noecaj, Jurist.
According to the AKP, in Bosnia and Herzegovina there are 17, 10% of Kosovo's property in Croatia, 5, 3%, Montenegro 35, 21%, Macedonia 7, 4%, Serbia 104, 62%, Slovenia 1, 1%. /Tv Dukagini
