Deputy Chairman Zogaj in this interview has also indicated that they are completing the Olympic Village project, which will be located in Down Below Brnica. He added that there will also be a large soccer stadium and other small sports stadiums such as tennis, water sports, and hand playing sports. Zogaj has also indicated that the organisation of the Mediterranean Games to be held in Pristina.
“There are some big projects that we plan during the year 2024. One of them we're constantly posing is the tunnel, or underpass of the “Agim Ramadani” which actually puts the cars in the underpass. But the above remains all for Pristina pedestrians and citizens. So it's going to be very well connected to Pristina Square “back Rugova” with this old part of the city of Pristina and will be a big innovation project. It also assists in traffic, however, because cars get in and there are no obstacles to pedestrians and buses”, Zogaj has said of Online Economy.
Zogaj has stressed that with the regulation of the Boulevard “George Bush” we will add Pristina a new green space for walking. He also talked about the green market he said would move to the old part of town.
“The other big project we have ready for the tender is the Boulevard “George Bush” or Square “George Bush”. The project is only ready and is expected to be tendered over the coming week or weeks very soon and will be one of Pristina's major innovations. We are adding to Pristina a new, green space, new flat walk. So it's connected from “Grand” to the cathedral and so it's going to be a beautiful square of boulevard like other world capitals. Then we're preparing the liaison platform project that connects Arberia neighbourhood to the city center with the Youth Palace. It is a project that many citizens ask for, and it connects two neighborhoods that are now just like sharing. That's why it's one of the projects we're looking forward to. Also, the green market at the old part of the city in the space where the AKP was ahead, where we will shift the green market this year”, Zogaj said.
“Sic knows we've presented a host of projects at the Investors Conference, so there are foreign investors, diaspora investors, but local ones who have interest in introducing projects with public-private partnership”, he said, among other things.
Zogaj has been commemorating that Pristina is a city of sports this year until it has even talked about organising the Mediterranean Games, which will be held in Pristina and preparations the municipality is making.
Pristina is also a city of sports in 2024. Also, with great pride we say we have won the right to host the Mediterranean Games that will occur in Pristina and other Kosovo cities, but mainly in Pristina. So over the next five years, a lot will be invested in sports capacities or big sports halls. We're completing the detail of the Olympic Village, which will be placed in the Downstair, and there will also be a large soccer stadium and then other small sports stadiums such as tennis, water sports, but even ball sports such as basketball, the football and so on,”, have declared Zogaj for Online Economics. / EO/
