Zogaj has said that this letter is the strategy of Prime Minister Albin Kurti, not to lobby for membership, but to divide among themselves Gervala and Osman.
According to Zogaj, Kurti has told Gervala to send such a letter as he belongs to him as foreign minister, and, according to him, Gervala thinking Kurt is doing him a favor, has sent the letter without having to coordinate with President Vjosa Osmani.
