At around 7:40 tonight, two people were injured in the village of Gjonaj in Prizren. One has been hit with firearms and the other with strong tools.
The news has been confirmed by Kosovo Police Commissioner for the Prizren region Vesel Gashi.
“Today on date: 22.05.24 around 7:40, the police have accepted information about a shooting wound in the village of Gjonaj in Prizren. The relevant police units immediately responded to the case. Two people, one with firearms and the other with strong tools, are injured in the incident, and the same have been sent for health treatment to Prizren Regional Hospital.“
On the other hand, Gashi has added that suspects are known to the police, and are searching for them.
The alleged <x0) persons are known for Kosovo police and police units are searching for them. In this regard all investigative actions by relevant police units are in co-ordination with the state prosecutor.“.
