Four people have been injured Wednesday in afternoon hours in Lupc, Podujevo. Three of them were wounded with firearms and one with a knife. The prosecution has announced that the event occurred after a disagreement between some family members. Now, five people have been detained for 48 hours, and the case has been described as attempted murder.
“At about 4: 00 p.m. as a result of gunfire at Lupc, Podujevo, three people have been injured, while another person has suffered knife injuries”.
This was initially confirmed by Kosovo Police spokeswoman for the Pristina region Flora Ahmeti.

Based on the current data in this case, three people have been wounded by the firearm, while one person has suffered injuries from the cold weapon. Police investigators in co-ordination with the prosecution are taking investigative actions for the full lighting of the” case, Ahmeti has said of Periscope.
The four have been sent to the QKUK Emergency Clinic, where numerous police patrols have remained.
Regarding the state of health of the wounded, they have spoken from the QKUK Emergency Center.
“A 50-year-old, who is among the four wounded with firearms at Lupc in Podujevo, is in danger of life”, said the caretaker doctor at KKUK's Emergency Clinic, Agron Citaku.
Citaku said one person injured, about 50 years old, is in more serious condition and is expected to be operated.
There are four cases coming up. The treatment has lasted so far. Two are in heavier condition, two easier. They can be released. They have piercing wounds and treatment is continuing. One is going into the operating room. At present one of them may say that he is in danger for life. The others are not”, Citaku has declared.
Meanwhile, Prosecutor's spokeswoman, Laureta Ulaj, has told Express that an initial investigation allegedly caused a disagreement between several family members. She added that one person has been escorted to the police station to interview.
After the police received information, the presiding prosecutor from the Randa Crime Department has appeared at the scene. Initial investigations allegedly hurt four (4) people who were sent to receive medical treatment, until a (1) suspected person on the scene was escorted to the police station to interview. The state prosecutor in co-ordination with the police is taking investigative action in the direction of the criminal act “attempted murder”, in order to clarify the circumstances of this case”, Ulaj told Express.
Following the medical treatment he received in emergency, one of the injured has been arrested, meanwhile, police later announced that five people have been assigned the detention measure for 48 hours.
“so far, on the part of the state prosecutor, the detention measure (48 hours) has been pronounced for five suspected persons and the case has been named as attempted murder”, Police spokeswoman Flora Ahmeti told Express.
The Pristina prosecution has later come up with an additional detail. Pristina Prosecutor's spokeswoman, Laureta Ulaj, has told Express that suspected persons being treated at QKUK are under police security measure.
The state prosecutor has issued a ruling on the ban of five (5) on persons suspected in this case, due to criminal activity “attempted murder”. Suspects who are being treated at KKUK are under security measure by police”, Ulaj said.
