First weekend with open borders, thousands of entry from Kosovo towards Albania

Since 1 May, crossings between Kosovo and Albania take place without border controls.

At the crossing point in Morina, Albanian border police do not require identification documents for citizens who want to enter Albania's territory.

The border crossing decision thus took place from three to nine months of the year to facilitate the circulation of citizens of both countries.
