Von der Leenen: We must invest in defence to preserve peace!

European Commission President Ursula von der Leyeen has called for strengthening the European Union's defence.

Speaking of world conflicts and wars, she has emphasized that it is very important and that it must strengthen her protective capacity.

“Those who speak like Putin do not want peace, but will still exist. That's why it's so important that we constantly support Ukraine and strengthen our defence capacity. If we have to maintain peace on our continent then we have to invest in defence”, Ursula von der Leyeen further said.
