Kosovo's Specialised Chambers in The Hague today will continue the trial process against former Kosovo Liberation Army leaders Hashim Thaci, Kadri Veselini, Rexhep Selimi and Jakup Krasniqi.

The judicial process against the former KLA leaders, according to the Specialised Chambers Calendar, is expected to continue today again with the presentation of the next witness.

And yesterday, Austrian diplomat Jan Kickert has completed his two-day testimony in the court case against Hashim Thaci, Kadri Veselin, Rexhep Selimi and Jakup Krasniqi. For two days the witness has been questioned by the prosecution, the court and the defense as well.

During yesterday's hearing, the chairman of the court, Charles Smith III, has made several decisions concerning witnesses and evidence intended to release the Special Prosecutor's Office in the case of Hashim Thaci, Kadri Veselini, Rexhep Selimi and Jakup Krasniqi.

Decisions have emerged as a result of statements at the conference on the progress of the 27 May 2024 court case in this case.

The court ordered the SPS to inform the parties in detail of all measures they will take for cutting and accelerating their evidence. Also, he ordered the SPS to consider the possibility of preparing sessions being conducted at a distance.
