The line between real content and content generated by Artificial Intelligence (AI) in social media is unclear, so platforms are looking for ways to clearly divide two segments.
In such a bid, TikTok will automatically show the content created by artificial intelligence. This feature will be distributed to all app users by the end of the week.
According to the Tech Crunch Web site, TikTok will do so with the help of something called “Credicials of content” It's a technology created by the Coalition for the Ability of Control, and it's formed by Microsoft and Adobe.
But TikTok will be able to know whether the content was created by human hands or artificial intelligence.
This is not an unmistakable method, since platforms that do not establish data flaws that TickTok recognizes will still be able to post content on the social network, whose origin will be unknown to everyone.
True, TikTok will ask users who publish content if it was created by artificial intelligence, but who will respond as they please and have no additional verification.
However, “false content credentials” are popular, so this is probably a step forward when it comes to the difference between false “ ” and “real”.
