A new social network targeting the newest population, Nospace, will be launched in June of this year, writes “Business Insider”. They call themselves the most social “socialist” because they say their priority is interaction among users rather than publishing viral content.
Nospace was created by Tiffany Zing, who himself is a member of the “Gennerate Z”, and, as the company said, there are now 500,000 people on the waiting list.
The application will encourage users to share their opinions on everyday matters. The application is based mainly on text posts, and there is also the possibility that users will switch to the option to see only posts of their friends. Any account can be modified by color, background, and font.
“Users may be as strange or authentic as they want”, Zing said. The goal of the new social network is to show new users what it was like when MySpace and Facebook were the most popular tools (and more or less) to create connections and Internet recognition.
Remember how much fun the internet was before advertising and algorithms? We do it and we want to turn it”, says the application description on AppStore.
