Slovenian Prime Minister Robert Golob has indicated that his government will consider recognising an independent Palestinian state this week.
Golob said the review of the recognition of an independent Palestinian state will take place Thursday during the government's meeting.
“Meanwhile, we will continue to co-ordinate with a group of countries with the same opinion to create maximum pressure for an immediate ceasefire and release of hostages”.
“as a responsible member of the Security Council, we are obliged to do everything in our power to bring lasting peace to the Middle East”, Golob said, CNN.
