Shala for draft the Association statute: Territorial political autonomy for Serbs

The deputy head of the Democratic League of Kosovo( LDK), Kujtim Shala, has said that the draft statute of Association of Serb majority municipalities “is territorial political autonomy for the country's Serbs”.

He has added that the integration process for both Kosovo and Serbia “are related to that agreement, which at its core has Article 7”.

“Albin Kurti has agreements with the president of Serbia... no signing is required, that is the agreement which the European Union has adopted and you know that it has become an obligation for Serbia as Chapter 3550, and according to the Ohrid Annex is also the new obligation for Kosovo”.

The Association Draft has named it “draft-cootant” for Serbs.

“Article 7 as you know it is that in Kosovo it must be founded as we have seen by the drafttatus, the territorial political autonomy of Kosovo Serbs”, he has said.

“... In line with the Council of Europe's relevant instruments and using existing European experiences to ensure an appropriate level of self-awareness for the Serb community in Kosovo”, says Article 7.

Shala has further said that through the Brussels Base Agreement é of Ohrid “the return of Serbia's” of power to Kosovo.

Serbia's “Reversion and formalisation of power in at least four areas. This is the agreement Kosovo's prime minister has with the president of Serbia, and has the support of all European Union member states and beyond, and the United States of America and the United Kingdom”, Shala has declared.
