(2 years ago)The accused of pushing for the murder of police officer Triumf Riza in 2007, Enver Sekiraqa, since 17.05.2024, continues to remain unattainable for Kosovo Police and justice bodies, though there is already a decision to return to custody. It is not known where the faithful lawyer [...] is now and so many days.
Sekiraqa now and many days is not known where she is, though lawyer Besnik Berisha said he is found in a hospital outside Kosovo being treated because of health problems and added that the state is aware of this.
On the other hand, it is not yet known how it came out of Kosovo.
The chief chief of the Kosovo Police Inspectorate, Kufi Hodaj, was declared in an interview for “Calxo Pernime”.
Hodaj said this case has not yet been addressed because they have so far not had any information whether Sekiraqa has left through any border points or through any police official has been enabled to evacuate him.
“A public statement or a police communiqué has been that there is no information that the same one has passed through the border points, but of course we will treat it as information and verify whether police have eventually had or should have information about the escape or of its departure from Kosovo” Hodaj said.
He added that if they can argue that he has responsibility on the part of police officials he will take the necessary police action.
At 23.05.2024 Kosovo police requested citizens' help with information that would help find and arrest Enver Sekiraqa.
Police published his photo and data, demanding him as convicted of criminal activity “in committing a serious assassination”, in the case of police killing Triff Riza.
