“Protothema” writes that in the speech of Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama, who lasted more than 1 hour, he “claimed he was not there to provoke”.
In his address, Rama stressed that despite tensions between the two countries, pensions deals with Greece are being discussed!
Even Cn.gr highlights Rama's word “I have not come to provoke”, writing that the prime minister has provided assurances that he did not come to provoke, but to meet his people”.
On the other hand, Kathimerini has written that this meeting has sparked new tensions in Greek-Albanian relations, as well as is an event that follows Rama's comments Saturday.
“Greece is a democratic country. He couldn't prevent a leader from making a private visit and talking to his fellow villagers.
The issue has received more attention than appropriate, but it is not the right time before the European elections”, Kathimerini quoted Rama's word.
Greek media write that the Greek government has chosen not to react to Rama's visit, clarifying only that if there are provocations, it will answer. / A2 CNN/
