Vetevendosje Movement member at the Central Election Commission (KQZ), Sami Kurteshi, has been acquitted of assaulting the injured Adnon Berisha at CEC headquarters.
The Act against Kurteshi was proclaimed Tuesday at the Constitutional Court in Pristina by Judge Sabit Sadij.
According to Judge Sadikuj, Kurteshi is acquitted of having failed to prove that he committed a criminal offense.
“From proven evidence, listening to witnesses and evidence found in the subject documents failed to prove that the same was committed in the criminal work he was charged with or exactly the criminal acts he was charged with doesn't represent elements of the criminal act of assault”, the judge said.
According to the judge, for the criminal work Kurteshi was charged with, it proved to be no offense.
“Evertically, in this case, it is about completing elements of the anti-verbal work. So, in this case there is no fulfillment of the criminal acts charged with by the defendant”, Sadiki said.
