Through a Facebook post, this party says Ilir's murder, along with Hazir Malaj, was a major loss to the KLA.
“Twenty-six years ago, one of the most violent activists of the liberation movement, Kosovo Liberation Army member Ilir Konushevci, was dealt treacherously. Ilir's murder, along with Hazir Malaj, was a major loss for the Kosovo Liberation Army because it was in the greatest momentum of its contribution to the logistics and organisational strengthening of its structures. May the memory of his name and work” be eternal, says the PDK's post.
