We hope that this time the Kosovo issue will be placed in the Council of Ministers of the Council of Europe agenda and that our state's membership in this organisation” will be finalised.
Besides, The PDK has congratulated Kosovo as soon as it manages to obtain membership candidate status in the European Union.
This way alone, our country will open the way for strengthening domestic institutions, for more new investments and more interstate co-operation opportunities, in the continuation of European integration efforts”.
Germany and France have demanded that Kosovo take a substantial step in relation to the Association at least sending the draft status of this constitutional mechanism to review when Kosovo's membership in the Council of Europe is in question, the Albianpost broadcasts.
Meanwhile, Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti has on Wednesday called the Kosovo Government's next meeting “absurde” Germany and France's application for the draft association status to be sent to the Constitutional Court prior to the KiE membership.
Kosovo's “government cannot send documents which sʹi has accepted and are not official to the Constitutional Court. This request to us has been and remains absurd”, Kurt said.
