MP PDK says draft law on KPM sʹka aimed at linking with European legislation boycotts collection

That statement, MP Shaban from the Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK), did so before continuing with the review of the Bill for Independent Media Commission (KPM), reports “Justice Vowift”.
Among other things, he said he has demanded that the Council of Europe expert remain in the JPM bill as well as in the preliminary law.
However, he said that this has not been taken into account.
The same one added that competencies are being carried in this way, as the second instance is directly the court.
On the other hand, he said that concerning this bill the reports of the US State Department (DASH) and Reporters Without Borders are quite disturbing.
In addition, regarding this bill, he stressed that civil society has also raised many concerns.
“I have never seen so many comments come to the country, so many concerns”, deputy Shaban added.
While, in addition to the number of KPM members, the same one said it has to do with apprehending the KPM.
After these statements, MP Shaban said I would not participate in the vote on this bill, releasing the hall.
Before the start of the meeting, deputy from the Democratic League of Kosovo Agim Veliu has also released the hall, due to the delay caused by members of this commission.
Thus, five deputies from the Vetevendosje Movement, Valon Ramadani, Besim Muzai, Adelaina Grainca, Nijazi Isaac and Fitim Haziri, and Fidan Yildi from the Kosovo Turkish Democratic Party are participating in the meeting.
The meeting has continued with the vote on amendments to this bill.
