Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Donika Grovalla has talked about the issue of early elections in Kosovo.
She said that if the opposition in Kosovo thinks it should go to the elections, the majority will not prevent this process, but, according to her, an opposition consensus is needed for that.
“We expect the opposition to be serious in its calls for elections and not to do so just through the media, where it is not set for new elections. We are ready whenever the opposition is ready. We think it would be better for the elections to be held over the long days than in the short days of the winter”, Gervala said in an interview for the “Zer of America”.
However, Gervalla said the government is willing to carry the mandate to the end, which, as she said, would be the first time for a government after Kosovo independence.
